Team news: Royals open with Louth test

Manager Trevor Giles has announced his squad to take on Louth in the opening round of the Leinster Minor Football Championship.

These two met in last years Gerry Reilly Cup final with Louth coming out on top after extra time at Millbrook.

Navan O’Mahony’s Harry McGuirk will captain the side with Alex Keane from Dunshaughlin as vice-captain.

The game will now take place in Skryne at 7.30pm on Thursday having been postponed on Tuesday due to an uplayable pitch.
