Tá Clann na nGael An Mhí go hiontach sásta a fhógairt go mbeidh Uachtarán CLG, Jarlath Burns, ar an aoi speisialta ag rince dinnéir an chlub chun gradaim agus bonn a bhronnadh ar na himreoirí. Is áthas é freisin go mbeidh Cathaoirleach Bord Contae na Mí, Jason Plunkett, ag filleadh chun cabhrú linn bliain eile rathúil a cheiliúradh.
Clann na nGael Meath are delighted to announce the GAA President Jarlath Burns will be a special guest at the club’s dinner dance to present players with their medals and awards. It is also a pleasure to have Meath County Board Chairperson Jason Plunkett returning to help us celebrate another successful year.
It’s not every year that a club wins a championship unless you’re in the elite of Ballygunner in Waterford, Slaughtneil from Derry, Ballyhale Shamrocks from Kilkenny but to name a few who are never far away from silverware every year.
2025 proved to be a successful year for the footballers of Clann na nGael firstly winning the Comórtas Peil na Gaeltachta for the first time in 30 years and then continuing and winning the Meath Junior A championship.
The dinner dance will take place in the Darnley Lodge Hotel on the 17th of January 2026. Tickets for the night are still available all are welcome from around the county for the chance to see the President of the GAA.
Tickets are priced at €45 per person and include a 3-course meal with food being served at 8pm sharp. The Sandmen and DJ Dermot will be late-night entertainment after medals and awards have been presented. Anyone who wishes to get tickets can contact Peter on 086 794 8589 for more information.
