Summerhill captain Ronan Ryan raises the Keegan Cup at Pairc Tailteann

Big crowds, brilliant games thanks to the new rules and loads of upsets as our club football championships come to a close.

It started in the first week of August and concluded on Sunday with Summerhill taking home their 9th Keegan Cup title after another very exciting decider at Pairc Tailteann.

The Intermediate grade provided an abundance of excellent games with a youthful Kilbride coming out on top after a pulsating final at HQ. With the talent at their disposal don’t be surprised if they will add to their 5 Keegan Cup titles in the near future.

Clann na nGael will play Intermediate football for 2026 after their narrow win over St. Vincents in the Junior decider. The Athboy/Rathcairn outfit last took home the Peter McDermott Cup in 2-19 and lost the 2023 decider to now senior outfit Kilbride.

Our sincere thanks to the many brilliant Club PRO's who have sent us on match reports throughout the championship season.
