Enda Corcoran wore the St Brides jersey with distinction during his days in Knockbridge, winning a Ranafast Cup medal in 1974. Enda made a name for himself as a talented jockey and enjoyed a stint in England. When he left the village for good, he settled in Avenue Road, Dundalk. Enda passed away on Friday, February 24th, 2012, aged 62. St Brides GFC formed a guard of honour at his funeral.
