John 'Jack' Fitzgerald of Oaklawns, Dundalk passed away on July 2nd, 2010. Though he was best known for his extensive involvement in soccer, which included serving Everton FC as a scout, Jack began his sporting career as a gaelic footballer with Sean O'Mahonys and was the last surviving member of the team that won a JFC in the 1940s.
