Higgins, Mick

Cavan legend Mick Higgins honed his football skills at St Mary's, Dundalk, winning a MacRory Cup in 1938 as they played in the Ulster Colleges Championship at the time. The New York native returned to Louth later in his life when he was posted as a Garda in Drogheda from 1947 until 1951. During this time, he played at midfield for the St Magdalene's club.
