Peter McArdle, Lower Faughart, passed away on November 6th, 2013. A member of a well-known and highly-respected family, he was born in 1928. Peter was delighted to see his children and grandchildren get involved in sport, especially the GAA, and had been instrumental in the formation of the local Naomh Brid club. He always encouraged younger members of his family to participate in sport, regardless of the code.
