Sean Englishby from The Bleach, Collon, who passed away on Monday, March 7th, 2016, was a highly-respected member of the local community and a stalwart of the local GAA club. Sean played for Mattock Rangers for many years and also served the Collon club at committee level. He starred on the side that famously won the 1982 Louth intermediate championship. His family continues to enjoy strong ties with Mattock Rangers today and son, Daire (winner of three Louth SFCs), acted as club captain in 2016.
