Born in Newry, Hyde Park man Eddie McCormack spent all of his working life in Dundalk. He followed the Mourne County with great passion and was also a keen supporter of his local Sean O'Mahonys GAA club, deriving great joy from the Quaymen's 2014 Louth and Leinster intermediate championship successes. After the Seans won those titles, they went to visit Eddie at his home in Priorland.
