Omeath  native Philomena Finn passed away in New York on August 25th, 2014, aged 78. Philomena was married to Ken Finn from Dundalk, who had the distinction of winning both an FAI Cup with Dundalk in 1958 and a national football league medal with New York in 1967. The couple met in Gaelic Park in New York and Philomena would support her husband as he donned the colours of the Exiles for 15 years.
