Wife of the late Vincie McArdle, the well-known ex-publican, Annie McArdle (nee McKevitt) of Seatown Place, Dundalk passed away on April 10th, 2014. Born in Crossalaney, Carlingford in 1929, Annie was a big GAA supporter as all six of her children - Benny, Eugene, Jacqui, Anne, Philip and Paul - played the national game. She and Vincie attended all the big championship games and there were many duties to be carried out in the Seatown homestead washing gear so that the children would be perfectly kitted out for the next big match. Members of Shane O'Neill's GFC ladies, Camlough provided a guard of honour at the church.
