The late Michael Coyle, who died on Saturday, June 18th, 2016, was president of his beloved O'Raghallaighs GFC. He was involved with the club since its formation in 1957 and was a superb footballer, winning a SFC in 1965. A driving force in the early years of the club, he represented O'Raghallaighs in a variety of roles. Michael also won a Louth minor championship medal with Newtown Blues in 1956. Members of O'Raghallaighs provided a Guard of Honour for the final journey of a man who truly loved the GAA and took great pride from his stewarding duties at Croke Park.
