Former St Josephs club chairman Jackie Kinahan from Chapel Cross, Dromiskin, passed away on June 9th, 2016, ten days short of his 91st birthday and less than three weeks after the passing of his beloved wife, Alice (see above). Jackie served the local GAA club as chairman for three years and was honorary president. Goalkeeper when the Unknowns won the championship in 1955, he was a proud Joes man and took great pride in all their accomplishments on and off the field of play, including the development of Cluskey Park into one of the Wee County's finest venues. He celebrated all of the club's successes, especially when his son, sons-in-law and grandsons were involved. St Josephs GFC provided a Guard of Honour and the clubhouse hosted mourners after Jackie's funeral.
