Eddie McGuigan (Drogheda)
O'Raghallaighs stalwart Eddie McGuigan of Newfield, Drogheda passed away on Saturday, January 14th, 2017. The Monaghan native, who was in this 90th year, was heavily involved in the GAA in Leeds and Bradford before returning to Ireland in the late 1960s. As carpenter / foreman working on many of the new housing estates going up in Drogheda at the time, he settled in Newfield with his wife Susan and joined the local O'Raghallaighs club, whom he served as chairman and juvenile coach amongst a host of other capacities.
