Abbeylara moved into their first Longford senior football championship final after edging out Killoe Young Emmets by 0-10 to 0-9 at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
Cian Brady notched what proved to be the winning point with two minutes left in normal time as Killoe were denied in their pursuit of a fourth Sean Connolly Cup in six years.
The holders were 0-5 to 0-4 in front at half-time but fell behind by two before Mickey Quinn’s point left the minimum between the sides and a Paddy Moran score had it all square with eight minutes to go.
In the end, Brady’s 58th minute effort proved the difference between the sides as Frankie Dolan's men advanced to their club's first SFC final since 2018.
