Man-of-the-match James Burke scored 0-10 as Naas completed a four-in-a-row of Kildare SHC titles at the expense of Maynooth in Newbridge today.
The reigning All-Ireland intermediate champions were never headed throughout this St Conleth's Park contest after they took a 0-3 to 0-1 lead in the ninth minute, though Maynooth kept it tight for the first-half.
Bridging a 79 year-gap to their last senior final, Maynooth only trailed by three points (0-9 to 0-6) at the break, but Tom Mullally's side moved through the gears in the second-half to pull away for a 0-20 to 0-12 victory.
Congratulations to Naas as they are crowned UPMC Senior Hurling Champions 2022.
