Donegal’s 2012 All-Ireland SFC winning corner back Frank McGlynn has been appointed manager of his beloved Glenfin for 2025.

McGlynn will take charge of the Glenfin senior footballers after winning an IFC medal with them as a player in 2018 and coaching several of their underage teams. The Páirc Taobhoige outfit compete in both Division 1 of the League and the SFC, and are looking to the five-time Ulster SFC medallist to turn them into challengers.

“Clg Ghlenn Fhinne welcome the appointment of Frank McGlynn as Senior Team Manager for 2025. We wish Frank, his backroom team, and all our players the very best of luck in 2025,” Glenfin said in a statement.

“The appointment follows the recent departure of Frank Ward from his managerial role and we would like to thank Frank for his hard work, dedication and professionalism shown throughout this past year.”
