Ballyboden St Enda's have been awarded the Dublin Football League Division 1 title after final opponents Kilmacud Crokes were unable to field a team.

The southside powerhouses were due to meet at Parnell Park on Wednesday in a repeat pairing of this year's SFC final but remarkably recently crowned three-in-row Leinster champions Crokes couldn't field on the evening and the game had to be called off.

The Dublin county board's CCC have now awarded the title to Kenny Naughton's Ballyboden side who after all finished top of the table.

"Following the disappointment of the Senior Football Div 1 League Final being called off on Wed, we can confirm the CCC of the Dublin County Board have awarded the game to @BodenGAA," the Firhouse Road club said on X.

"On behalf of Adult Football Committee & the wider club we wish to congratulate our Senior Men's Footballers, Kenny Naughton, the management & backroom team on winning the League Title having finished top after a lengthy campaign."
