Replying To ponga:  "Just watched them back and like it ornot he got them all correct!"
You would say that but it was a clear penalty…. You don't be escorted of the pitch by the guards if you got the big decisions right

The referee was terrible and so was the co commentator on TG4.... how in Gods good name did he award Scully man of the match...? Clifford and O Callaghan were the stand out players with several more way ahead of Scully... mind boggling

Replying To KillingFields:  "some final amazing game that had everything"
"Amazing"…. it had 1 try and a multitude of TMO reviews that destroyed the game… along with a red card that never should have been.. SA did the very same and no red… A rubbish sport and thank goodness it's over…

Finally a score line and a performance that was needed in this division… we just might be clicking into form at the right time… now let's win the final and end this League Final defeat hoodoo that we have… It would be the perfect boost before the Antrim game….!

Why do you keep posting Chambers contact details…. You might as well contact Homer Simpson for all the good it would do…. In fact Homer would probably know more about sport in this country…!!!!

Replying To TheFlaker:  "You must be a troll. Certain conditions mean certain frees are better from the hands. You are then making it harder to score. Some players prefer frees from the hands. You don't become a free taker from the ground overnight. And then guess what comes next? Tactical fouling when they know the free taker isn't up to it. So tactical fouling is problem number 2. I can keep going here. Played senior football for 20 years. Have managed 2 different clubs to both senior and Intermediate titles in the past 10 years and attend club and inter County games all year round but yeah, you know more from your couch."
I'd say you played dam all… you probably wouldn't be able to kick a free from the ground…. Practice makes perfect so your tactical fouling excuse doesn't hold up… Still waiting on your 5/6 problems… You have had 2 days now and you have come up with nothing but nonsense…..

All Ireland Football Final 2024 - Galway V Armagh - 5 Like(s)
It's a terrible shame that there's no minor final as a curtain raiser to the senior final today… It's a terrible own goal by the GAA to deprive young lads from experiencing a huge occasion like this…. Hopefully Jarlath Burns in his wisdom can reverse this ridiculous decision to take minor finals out of Croke Park and separate them from the senior occasion..

Replying To TheFlaker:  "Ah yes Hurling. The game of 2 provinces. Hurling is a minority sport compared to Gaelic football. So much so they had to get rid of 2 provinces to make it a viable competition. Hurling is brilliant to watch but it's a small number of teams playing each other more than once in a championship season to make sure it's a spectacle. Big attendances in the hurling games in Connaught and Ulster is there?"
Even the lowest National hurling league match would surpass the embarrassing official attendance of 75 that attended an inter county football match between Longford and Waterford in the Taltainn Cup… You rightly say hurling is brilliant to watch but unfortunately the same thing can't be said of football.. Even the All Ireland final was a woeful spectacle in comparison to its hurling counterpart… Anyone who can't see this needs their head examined…. Those at the top have finally admitted to it (unlike you) and are now trying all sorts of changes in the hope of getting people back through the turnstiles but I have a feeling they are going to destroy what was once a great game for ever with the nonsense they are proposing….

Replying To Blackspot09:  "Their financial demands ?? Did you not see the Officials figures that the current management team are getting in expenses ? Not exactly peanuts. I've no issue with them getting expenses by the way but I wouldn't be waffling about outside management's financial demands after looking at what the current management are getting."
Would you like another Banty situation….? No… didn't think so.. Stay in County..

Replying To TheFlaker:  "Ah lads. So let's slow the play down to take frees from the ground and also have potentially less scores in difficult conditions. And more fouling by defenders in certain cases. Sounds amazing."

Replying To TheFlaker:  "The opinions on this are absolutely mind boggling lads. If a player is fouled he deserves a chance to score off the ground or from the hands. Jesus wept."
A lot more posters agreeing with me than you on this… think you are loosing the argument… still waiting on 5/6 problems with the idea… no hurry… you probably need more to dig a bigger hole for yourself…. Lol

Can Gaelic Football (Handball?) Be Saved? - 4 Like(s)

Replying To TheFlaker:  "Jesus why do i have to keep repeating myself. Again i will point out the best games are at the business end of the season. Think of the semi finals and finals over the past 10 years? How many of them have been bad games? Very, very few. There have been absolute classics in semis and finals even in the past 5 years. That's because the top teams are going at it. Same in the league final this year. The championship is not great until the semi finals because there are too many games that don't matter and there is no real hazards for the top teams. It's a restructure needed far more than some of the daft suggestions on here by people who don't care about the impact on players and coaches."
So basically you are saying there is no real Championship until the quarterfinals or semifinals because of the nonsensical structure…? f Football truly is in a very bad place so…

The country is been run by bureaucrats and Civil servants who are all on huge money and bonuses the longer this madness goes on… Our vaccine roll out has been a total joke… Everything should be opened up at this stage… we will have to learn to live with Covid and it's different variants because it's going nowhere…. A government flapping around afraid to make decisions but a Government that hopefully pays a huge price come the next general election…!!
