Replying To cavanblueman:  "SeanORinn - what about the €50,000 paid for the GPS tracking system last year? Was that really needed?

Where did the jailbreak money go to? grants from HQ.....how much are we paying the Manager, selectors, strength & conditioning coach?

And oddly enough...none of the above mentioned payments were published in the treasurers report at the last AGM.

I dont think the stewards would have any issues doing three matches...they get well looked after.

As for you paying €500 to Club Breffni...why, when you get in free to Breffni Park, and when was the last time you went to see a match in any other venue in Cavan?

As for the the €7 per game...have you seen the state of club football in Cavan!"

Most of the above questions are for another person or committee as for my contribution to Club Breiffni even though I am a Cork man I want to support my adopted county do you have a problem with that. Yes I don't have to pay as I look after the pitch. I have attended several matches outside of Breiffni if I get a chance but I don't advertise that I am attending for this is my own private business.
This question however: what about the €50,000 paid for the GPS tracking system last year? Was that really needed?
Off course it is needed if you wish to get the players to a higher level of fitness. This shows the workers and the dodgers ??

Sean..you were happy enough to lecture us on the fact that the Co Board needed the money for the upkeep of the ground, so you should be fit to answer the questions about where the revenue goes.

How does a €50k GPS system make players fitter, I thought the €300 per session fitness coach did that.

So you get into Breffni for free, but you pay €500 to Club Breffni to attend 7 matches at club grounds?

The stewards get well paid for their services.....Ive been there, wore the stewards jacket...you hardly think they're doing it for free!

I think you need to heed what this person GAAhead posted. It's not all about a jacket it's my way of supporting my adopted county plain and simple. Shame you RHF and others don't think the same as over 200 of us do.

And if Cavan County Board did what nearly every other county board do there would be a lot more than 200 people supporting it.

Senior championship a 3 horse race this year...... Gaels, Kingscourt, Ramor in that order. Is it true Mullahoran threw up the points v the Gaels at the weekend? Hard to believe they are going so poorly, could go Intermediate if league form continues. Hopefully all games are competitive and the football is good.

I think it's a 2 horse race . Gaels and Ramor would be some final if both made it through.

Why are Castlerahan not in the race this year? Lost last years final after a replay, gained a full back and a centre half since.

I think it's a one horse race. Gaels won't be touched in any game. Ramor will win senior championships but not for another couple years. Still more talent coming through. Kingscourt are still depending on elder statesmen and speed and big pitches with hard ground will kill them. Castlerahan are Castlerahan. The bridesmaids as ever was. Lacken maybe were looking to be a contender but gone backwards last year after losing manager and coach.

I actually think the Gaels will win all games by a minimum of five points and would give our county team a game with their running, pace and movement.

Suppose the Gaels have the strong panel and players with experience . They always seem hit by injuries at championship time but on league form they seem to be flying.
However championship is championship and current form often goes out the window.
Changes in their adminstration side seems to have put new life into them as a club.

The draw has been cruel to them alright, an unfair system. Was impressed with them last night against Castlerahan they played nice football, bit of experience came through for Castlerahan in the end.
Cavan Gaels done what they had to do Friday, they don't need to be setting the thing alight just yet.
Mullahoran were shocking today, Gowna looked poor also

You know I will give my honest opinion after this weekend of watching senior football in Breifni should Arva believe in them self's and play like they did this weekend and stop listening to what certain people talk about statistics so much possession so many turn overs ect I would not be a bit surprised if the gaels will be worried about this draw. I have to be honest again I could only pick around five potential candidates for the senior set up 3 of those were with Arva. Seanie had it easy as Lackens corner back just had no idea how to mark him I feel Arva will do their home work here. It's about believe off course. The gaels team has not changed much from last year, most of the same names appeared on the team sheet. It should be a good mach just hope Arva don't think about the Gaels past and just think of their own ability. It's a match I would be very happy to pay ten euro to watch.
