Lads good luck to the Cavan team and management. Absolutely a big performance is needed to beat the dubs but without doubt it is in this team. My only worry would be that they travel through Kells and have a repeat of 97.

Good luck to MG and his back room team and these terrific group of players who have brightened up our days over the past six weeks in these troubled times. You are a credit to the jersey and have given everything in all the games you have played that's all Cavan supporters would ask whatever the result. The small matter of facing Dublin is next no doubt the greatest Gaelic football team ever they are at the top for a reason not just money ones they are brilliant at what they do terrific skilful players who also work their socks off. But we have shown during this championship that we have a never say die attitude and don't care about reputations and we're not intimidated any more so go at them from the start and let's see what happens. It's been an exciting week with the vaccine news which science has developed in a record time of 9months. Cavan are kings of Ulster in six weeks who would have thought that yeah it's been a strange year. Let's dare to dream Up Cavan.

To all the Cavan boys, embrace the challenge, play to win and have no regrets walking off the pitch at the end.

Its a shame that we can't all attend the game today. What a wonderful occasion it would have been. Best wishes to the Cavan players and Mgnt. I firmly believe that if we bring our Donegal game to the Dubs today we can put it up to them. They are a fabulous team. They were not handed 5 Sams, they earned each one of them through hard work and positive football. But they will be beaten at some stage so why not today? We have skills and strategies that might unsettle them, but we need a good start. An Cabhan Abu.

We are making so many ridiculous mistakes.

That was disappointing.

I thought we started well in the first 10 minutes, but we made so many unforced errors that it just drained the life out of us.
Look, we kept plugging away, but 15 points is hard to take, had we kept it to below 9 I'd have been happy. I suppose it was a learning curve in many ways, we went up against the greatest team of all time and fared as good as anyone else would.

Dublin are never going to be beaten in championship football at this rate, and if the GAA don't step in they're going to ensure the game dies a death in 31 other counties.

But anyway, that's that for 2020, and in no way does it tarnish what has been an excellent year for us otherwise. The lads have done us all proud to make it this far, and I hope we kick on next year and retain our Ulster title. Hope the squad stay together and with McVeety and Moynagh to return, there's no reason we can't have as good a year next year.

Dublin are at a level like Man City and Liverpool, where they can trust their players to win their own battles and can afford to put the high press on and dispossess the opposition.

Congratulations to the best Cavan team i have seen in my lifetime. You've given us a great year.

There'll be all stars to show for this year. Ray Galligan nailed on IMO. Maybe 1 or 2 more.

You've lifted this proud county in these dark times. And we're proud and thankful for all you've given.

I for one don't care too much about the result today. Having to play a county with the resources of Dublin was a long shot. They gave their all and brought renewed pride to the county. Whatever they do next, they are heroes in my eyes. I truely believe that we won't be waiting 23 years for more great days. Lets enjoy our Ulster title for now. Maybe next year we might even strenghten the ranks. Mcvitty, Moynagh, McDermott, McGovern and many others can drive us on further. Thanks for a great winter boys. You owe us nothing more. You deserve lots more success though.

We won 95 percent of our own kick outs and played reasonable well and still got hammered cant fault the effort but hard to see how teams can close the gap

The athleticism that Dublin have is on another level. They can break tackles with ease, they can accelerate with ease, and their movement is phenomenal.
They wont be beaten for the foreseeable future.

Thomas Galligan is also a dead cert for an all star. Has to be.
Faulkner will be in the reckoning.
I also think Oisin Kiernan will be nominated, possibly Luke Fortune, who I think had a really good year.

Branagan gave Thomas nothing tonight and even sent him off for pointing out the obvious holding Branagan ignored.

Hopefully it hasn't cost him.

I do think he and Faulkner deserve all stars too.

Yeah we were denied a stonewall penalty. Thomas was clearly been dragged in the square at one stage. I was glad to see us try the high ball. Ok it didn't work out, but we tried it. The scary thing is that this Dublin team literally do not have a weak point.

Result never in doubt, but I also think Cooper should have been black carded for dragging down Martin Reilly in a one on one situation.

I'm sports mad, I watch GAA, rugby and soccer, and I do not recall a team from any sport exercising such dominance as Dublin are now. NZ in rugby, for all their dominance, only have three world cups for example. In soccer, once Fergie left, United have fallen apart. Kilkenny have fallen away in the hurling.
This dublin thing needs to be sorted and fast.

Ciaran Brady too, sure he was Cavans best player in first half today. Attacking threat in every game

I'm absolutely gutted tonight but my god look at how far we have came..
Just over a month ago we were relegated to Division 3, the county was on its knees and people wanted Mickey gone .. Now, 6 weeks later we are disappointed about losing an all Ireland semi final to Dublin.
It was always going to be a tough, but all week people were whispering that we could do it and that sums up exactly about how far we have come in such a short space.
The challenge has only begun. Where do we want to go? Now is the time to put the foot down and kick on. Lets retain ulster lets get back here next year and get even closer to the dubs.
I have total faith in Mickey. Yes we were of the pace tonight.. But we were of the pace 12months ago in the Ulster final.... the rest is history...
We will be back.

We gave it a good effort but in the end not good enough. A little disappointed that we were so far off them but that's we're we are.
We have alot of work to do get to that level.
It's been a excellent year but now we need to focus on pushing on.
I hear people talking about moynagh and mcvetty coming back which is good but we need more.
We cannot waste this opportunity like we did in 97 and wait another 23 years to win another trophy.
