Well I certainly wasn't suggesting he be called up for the Ulster final! More of a general query as to whether he's injured or just not called up etc. He played in 2017 under mcgleenan by the way, but injuries again affected him. Tickets up on gaa.ie at the minute. I just got 2 in the Gerry Arthur for the inlaws. Nothing from Croke Park on the season ticket holders allocations as yet. cavangirl87 (Cavan) - Posts: 5 - 11/06/2019 12:51:21 2193461 Link 1 |

I just see that. Very strange how they're up already. i was basing that on a tweet from Official Cavan GAA, maybe they just got it wrong.

Already done. We rescued a game with 14 men when we were seriously under the cosh. And we won a replay. Put back to back performances together as favourites too. Going for the 7 in a row at this stage :)

Unlikely to be much change to Cavan team for final but Ciaran Brady could be a real good option in the forward line for putting the likes of McHugh or Eoin Ban on the back foot while having the energy to track, but Gerry Smith will slot back in to half backs if recovered from injury and Martin Reilly will move back to half forwards . We probably need to focus on primary possession more than anything else though, the Donegal keeper was extremely good v Tyrone, targeted pin point kicking. Three midfielders needed i feel. celt2018 (Cavan) - Posts: 160 - 12/06/2019 09:48:53 2193819 Link 0 |
One of main things I came away from Clones delighted about was finally nailing the problems we've had with our free taking. Was apprehensive when I first seen Murray take on the frees as I know he isn't a regular free taker with the Gaels but he done a marvelous job with some real pressure scores. It les us down badly throughout the year and it was the difference in a lot of games we played. westcavankid (Cavan) - Posts: 83 - 12/06/2019 14:02:34 2193938 Link 0 |
Starting 15 for Donegal? breffblue101 (Cavan) - Posts: 13 - 12/06/2019 15:03:40 2193973 Link 0 |
Breffblue101,your probably correct,no changes likely from Monaghan game/first Armagh game as changes last day out were injury related only.

The sections in the Pat McGrane run from A to K (and I don't think there's an I. So E and F are central and (I think) A is the end closest to the town. cavanman47 (Cavan) - Posts: 5195 - 13/06/2019 17:07:13 2194518 Link 0 |
Great news. He likes the underdog, punishes Donegal-style mass tackling, and of course likes to give us the odd dodgy penalty !!!

Tickets not available on GAA.ie this evening. There could be a small final tranche of terrace tickets released in the net few days. I'd assume everything through the clubs is already taken, they are in these parts anyway. Huge demand in Donegal too. MadgeKing (Cavan) - Posts: 493 - 13/06/2019 21:31:49 2194595 Link 0 |
