Seamus Connolly of Drumany was in his 86th year when he passed away on January 4 2009. Football was his first great love and he played for Redhills when they were known as Annagh in the 1940s. He continued to support Redhills and Cavan throughout his life and it is said that his last words were: "I hope St Peter is a fair referee."
