Nancy's death in November 2013 was received with great sadness and regret around Cavan Town, her native Mullahoran and much further afield.

A native of Grousehall, Loughduff, Nancy was a nurse by profession and took up a position at Cavan General Hospital when it opened.

Nancy is survived by her husband Eamonn (former Anglo Celt Sports Editor); sons Rossa and Daragh; daughters Aishling and Aoife; brothers Canon Bernard Brady, Mattie, Peter, Noel, Michael; sisters Sr. Andrea, Mary, Sheila, Helen, Nuala and Gabrielle.

Members of Drumalee GFC helped provide a Guard of Honour at Nancy's funeral.
