McCabe, Gerry

Gerry McCabe, Bracklagh, was a proud GAA man. He was in his 67th year. A stalwart of Drung GFC, he represented the club with distinction for many years, winning a junior championship with them in 1980. Normally donning the No.7 shirt, he will be remembered as an uncompromising defender, who was both tough and fair.
