Profound sadness was palpable in Lavey and beyond on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017 when news spread of the passing of Kathleen Maguire, née Carolan of Behey, Stradone. Kathleen had a great interest in sport, particularly gaelic football, and was always on the sideline to cheer on Lavey GAA Club.
