Thomas Patrick 'Pat' Brennan of Old Bridge Road, Cootehill passed away on Thursday, September 29th, 2016, having celebrated his 90th birthday the previous February. Originally from Scotstown and known as 'the grant man' due to his work as a Department of Agriculture land drainage official, Pat represented his home club at both junior and senior grades and also togged out for his native Monaghan at U21 level
