James Dolan played his 130th game for the Westmeath footballers last weekend.

The Garrycastle clubman came off the bench in the Allianz League Division 3 victory over Limerick and in doing so clocked up 130 senior appearances, 13 years after making his debut. One of the brilliant scoring defenders of his generation, Dolan has tallied 18-25 during his senior inter-county career to date and started 35 of the 38 championship matches he has featured in.

Meanwhile, fellow Westmeath veteran Kieran Martin reached the milestone of 150 games in last month's opening round win against Offaly.
