Four weeks ago, Tyrone were not able to fulfil their original semi-final fixture against Kerry due to an outbreak of Covid-19 cases within their squad.
Fast forward to today, and they are the new All-Ireland senior football champions - winning a fourth Sam Maguire Cup title and their first since 2008.
The Red Hands finished with five points to spare over Mayo at Croke Park. Here's what Twitter had to say:
It's time to update the bio π

Our lost captain, he would have lifted 2 and 3. Always remembered our Brantry boy @tyronegaalive pic.twitter.com/yBxvLig6h9

Hard to believe Darren McCurry didn't start Tyrone's first league game and has 41 points since. Having some season.

What an incredible achievement for the management in their first season. Beat the reigning Ulster Champions and then 4 division one teams on the way to winning Ulster & Sam! πͺπ΄βͺ https://t.co/agAsuoaYUv

Just noticing now that Tyrone beat Mayo by exactly the same score Dublin beat Mayo by last year. 2-14 to 0-15.

Well done Tyrone. Defended brilliantly, took their chances when they got them. People already muttering about curses in this pub in London; Mayo just had too many wides. Nothing supernatural about it. #gaa

Mayo missed some goal chances and Tyrone took two of theirs. Tyrone probably made less mistakes. Tough on Mayo again but Congratulations to Tyrone #allirelandfinal #MayoTyrone #GaelicFootball #GAA #CrokePark π
