The Sunday Game panel announced the selections for its 2023 Hurling Team of the Year last night, with four-in-a-row champions Limerick leading the way.
Kyle Hayes was named by the panel as ‘Hurler of the Year’ while ‘Man of the Match’ in the final itself was Treaty corner-forward Peter Casey.
All in all, there are seven Limerick players named on the team with finalists Kilkenny having five, Clare having two and Conor Whelan being Galway’s sole representative in the selections.
