I see Donegal are only fielding U21s in the McKenna Cup so to give the senior players an extended break. Maybe we should try something like that... say confine team selection to players who haven't started for Cavan in the past. It would guarantee new players would get 3 games of competitive game time and also give others an extended break. I know Mattie will probably want to get a look at all players at his disposal but if new players got the full 70 mins it could greatly boost their confidence rather than being replaced by a seasoned campaigner half way through the game.

I have a good feeling Awwwwnow (Cavan) Mattie will give everyone game time. I have a feeling there will not be prolonged sitting on the subs bench. The moral is high the attitude is brilliant so looking forward to the year ahead.
