Congratulations to Ramor commiserations to Castlerahan. This was dire stuff and you won in the end. Enjoy your victory everyone but try and give Ulster a rattle but I expect the date is too close for you to achieve I hope you prove me wrong. Well done to Ramor who given their age profile may be at the top table of Cavan football for many years to come. i feel very sorry for Castlerahan, two final defeats in a row is hard to take but they don't need and probably don't want any sympathy. They must get back up and running after Christmas, their current set up can still deliver an Oliver Plunkett in the next year or two! kildare blue (Cavan) - Posts: 578 - 24/10/2016 10:23:52 1928570 Link 0 |
Well done ramor, just shows what can be achieved when you put the right structures in place, they have won at minor & U21 and now have landed the big one. A lesson for all clubs Breffni81 (Cavan) - Posts: 181 - 24/10/2016 11:59:24 1928606 Link 0 |

A lesson to all clubs surely. When you put in the work you get the rewards. Crosserlough are coming very strong too as they have put in the work at underage as have Ramor, Arva the same last weekend. When you let the thing slip at underage level it can go pear shaped very easily. Although Ramor have the numbers to work with, as do Crosserlough, but the work must still be done. theDagger1986 (Cavan) - Posts: 181 - 24/10/2016 12:29:16 1928616 Link 0 |
Well done to Ramor. Have to say they fully deserved their victory. Better team both days. Young team fulfilling their potential . Hard luck to castlerahan. Probably will not win one for a while now . Hopefully the Ramor lads can win next Sunday. I know celebrations may hamper this but best of luck to ye . Breffinifan (Cavan) - Posts: 91 - 24/10/2016 12:59:16 1928623 Link 0 |
Yes congrats to Ramor on winning with a fairly young team but would agree with SeanORinn that it was dire struff. I wouldent be an ardent follower of club football in the county but I couldent believe how negative both teams were. It must have been the years of black death football that has infected the club game in Cavan. BreffniDub (None) - Posts: 377 - 24/10/2016 13:19:46 1928631 Link 0 |
As said by all, congrats to Ramor, the better team the first day and by far the better team yesterday. cavanman47 (Cavan) - Posts: 5193 - 24/10/2016 17:45:17 1928693 Link 0 |

Cornafean - Doyle, Arva - Sheridan, Bouchier, Killinkere - McCabe, Ramor - Cole Castlerahan - Mcenroe. Reformation (Cavan) - Posts:183 - 26/10/2016 11:01:02 1929085 even young Brady from Ramor I think two more from the Arva team worth having a look at. Will Cole commit if yes worth having him about for sure. The new manager will be trying to set his own stamp on our county team that he can call his team. Best of luck to him for he will need it for this coming campaigns. Yes Ramor are facing a team that have had a two week break Arva have two weeks so a chance ? Be nice to see Cornafean do the business in Breiffni on Sunday. The Quiet Man (Cavan) - Posts: 4601 - 26/10/2016 11:32:56 1929099 Link 0 |
