Not a lot of talk about the intermediate replay. Did KK miss there chance the first day out or will Arva live to rue not making the most of the goals they got 2 weeks ago?

This was another ferocious battle and i felt it was a lot more defensive that the first day. I thought the 2 teams looked cagey for big parts of the first half and both were determined to not give a lead away. Killinkere were slightly better in the first half but Ciaran Brady drove Arva forward in the start of the second half and others like Morris the full back fronted up. I didn't feel that Killinkeres danger men like McCabe dominated and I thought that would be important if they were going to win. Conal Sheridan was deadly accurate with his frees and Bouchier shower that bit of class to set him up for the winning score. Bot of a shout for a Killinkere free at the end and I have seen them given. May have been an Arva free just before it but it wasn't given either. All in all, two very closely matched teams and 2 good games with Arva just that bit more streetwise but Killinkere will be contesting next year I'd say. Will be a tougher task next year with 3 down from senior.

Congratulations to Arva - what they have achieved in the last few years is astonishing.

Peter McCabe didn't play well because Ryan put him neatly in his back pocket! Killenkere will not get to a final again for a long time me thinks! that was there chance and unfortunately for them Arva were just too good!

Too good? Won by a point after a replay.

Arva scraped a win and Kiillinkere will come again no doubt.

Killinkere were prepared brilliantly and all credit must go to Damian Donohoe and his team.
What Arva have achieved since losing to Kill in 2013 is simply remarkable, 3 back to back league promotions and 4 county final appearances in 4 years.
On the day they had 3 or 4 classy players that could manufacture scores for them that ultimately proved to get them over the line by the slimmest of margins.
