Yeah he battled to the end. Cavan were very small in the forwards compared to Armaghs.

Cavan minors were slow and ponderous. Never looked like winning. The team that wanted it most were Armagh.

Are we not looking at a similar outcome to 2015 where the management have failed miserably.

I see in the Anglo-Celt this week that the manager stated that the Cavan players were giving away serious height advantage to Armagh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As per 2015 the management had a preference for smaller players and suffered both in 2015 and 2016 for this selection strategy while leaving out some of the taller and even more talented players in the county who are taller in stature.

In my opinion it's time for the current management team (in total) to move on and provide a more open & transparent agenda for Cavan football as the future of Cavan football is always built at underage and to be completely honest the current management team did not comprehend the impact of not picking the best players in Cavan to play on the minor county team and have suffered the consequences.

They current management team have also severely impacted on the future of Cavan football.

Just wondering what's happening with the County minors. Heard the management stepped down after Armagh match. If so this was the right call. Is this correct. If so who is taking over. Very important to get the right man in .
