I went to most league matches and all of the Championship matches, 'Brilliant' is really an exaggeration, he had a few good games, McKiernan had a few good games, but thats about it, the modern game doesnt suit him, Cavan need quick players, McKiernan isnt one.

Replying To cavanblueman:  "They're both past their sell buy dates - the only reason Clarke went on tour was because the Dublin players and a number players from other Counties weren't available.
They've both had their days in a Cavan jersey, they served the County well, but neither have been consistently good enough, and you wouldnt pick either of them out if you watched them playing for their clubs. Time to move on...fresh faces needed."
The question is, will Peter select them, now that Mickey is gone to Longford?

Dunno, dont care, I'm just heading into the bookies to collect my winnings...had a little wager on who would become the next Cavan manager....

McKiernan was probably our best player this year . Clarke struggled with injury but both players are very much part of the future. Clarke at full back and leave him there.
They give 100% .
I hope Mickey can persuade Kevin Meehan to come back into the panel. Most improved footballer in club football this past 2 years. He would be a great asset.
Best of luck to the new management team.
IF we can stay in Div 1 it will be a major achievement.

I understand your deep frustrations and I will make allowances for it !

If Cavan had more players of the calibre of McKiernan and to a lesser extent Clarke, then your county team would be in a far better place going forward !

He's on some sort of a wind up with that post. Gearoid McKiernan was a colossus for us against Tyrone. If we'd kicked just 1 ball into him in the dying minutes of that game, the all Ireland championship could've looked very different this year!

I am sure this time next year we will know if they picked the right man or not. I hope you are right but if he is not the stand alone manager I fear it will have been a bad call.
