A brilliant second half from the minors. McConnell was outstanding. They have a great little team there, show good composure on the ball which is a rarity for a Cavan team But a terrible crowd in Breffni. So few people even knew the game was on. And it was even live on tg4 YouTube. Surely it is worth putting up a big screen outside Breffni park in the week prior to games advertising day and time of games. Down were really wasteful in the first half. Kept going for 2 pointers with the wind when maybe could have worked it in closer. Cavan only started to play when they went down to 14. Jake Brady a good prospect. Donegal in the semis. They made the league final and would be quite strong. 2 of their schools went far in the McRory Cup this year which is rare for donegal schools.
