Ulster Council has confirmed the start date for this year’s provincial senior football championship.
After the GAA outlined its roadmap for the 2021 season yesterday, Ulster Council confirmed this morning that its senior football championship competition will commence on the weekend of June 26/27.
The Ulster SFC final has been pencilled in for the Bank Holiday weekend of July 31/August 1, which will see the provincial body run off the competition in a little over a month.
The winners will advance directly into the All-Ireland SFC semi-finals as the GAA have outlined that there will once again be no football qualifiers this year.
