Former Tyrone star Conor McKenna struck a brilliant goal as Brisbane Lions booked their place into the AFL Grand Final with a 11.13 (79) to 9.9 (63) victory over Carlton on Saturday.
The result means that there will be Irish representation in the final as McKenna and Kilkenny native Darragh Joyce gear up for the Lions’ showdown with Collingwood next Saturday at the MCG.
This goal from 2021 All-Ireland winner McKenna helped the Lions book their first decider berth since 2004:
