Former Mayo star Oisin Mullin is set to make his AFL debut this weekend with Geelong Cats against GWS Giants.
The Kilmaine native is named to start at half-back in the same Cats line-up which features Laois legend Zach Tuohy and Mark O’Connor of Kerry.
Geelong are defending Premiership champions and signed the 23-year-old Mullin late last year, having previously signed him at the end of 2021 before he opted to stay home and play for Mayo.
The below Twitter post from the club shows the moment Mullin told his family the news that he is set to make his AFL debut on Saturday morning.
