The Cork Premier senior hurling championship final will see Glen Rovers face St Finbarr’s after both teams advanced in this afternoon's semi-finals at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Glen Rovers defeated Midleton 2-21 to 1-18 in their respective last four clash in the Rebel County. After trailing by a point at half-time, Glen Rovers produced a strong second-half performance to take control of the game.

Micheál Mullins played a key role, scoring two goals as the Glen secured their place in the decider.

In the other semi-final, St Finbarr’s overcame Kanturk by 1-27 to 1-22.

Kanturk led for much of the game, but the Barrs finished strongly, scoring the final seven points to complete an impressive comeback. Ethan Twomey’s goal was key, while Ben Cunningham and Brian Hayes also made valuable contributions.

It means Glen Rovers will meet St Finbarr’s in the Cork SHC final for the first time since 1984, with Glen chasing their first title in a decade while Barrs will be hoping to repeat their triumph of four years ago.
