Wexford SHC semi-final pairings confirmed

The draw for the Wexford SHC semi-finals has pitted holders St Martin's against Rathnure and Shelmaliers against Naomh Éanna.

It follows a busy weekend of quarter-final action. St Martin's overcame Ferns St Aidan's by 2-19 to 0-19 to set up a repeat of last year's final against Rathnure, who eased to a 2-20 to 0-13 victory over St Anne's, Rathangan.

Shelmaliers held on for a 2-20 to 1-21 win over Lee Chin's Faythe Harriers and they will now meet Naomh Éanna who defeated Oylegate-Glenbrien in a sudden death penalty shoot-out after the sides had finished level on 3-17 to 1-23 after extra-time.

The semi-finals in the six adult championships will be played on the weekend after next. The pairings are as follows: 

Pettitt’s Senior Hurling Championship: St Martin's v Rathnure; Shelmaliers v Naomh Éanna

The Courtyard Ferns IHC: Askamore v Davidstown-Courtnacuddy; Cloughbawn v St. James’

Joyces Expert IAHC: Shelmaliers v Adamstown; Oulart-The Ballagh v Gusserane O’Rahillys

Kavanagh Meats JHC: Rathnure St. Anne’s v Ballygarrett; St. Patrick’s v Naomh Éanna
