
TG4’s cameras will broadcasting from the west of Ireland tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon as Belmullet and Breaffy clash in the second round of the Mayo senior football championship (1pm).
GAA Beo’s coverage commences at 12.40pm from Tallagh, home of Belmullet GAA, with All-Ireland winners Ryan O’Donoghue, Matthew Ruane and Aidan O’Shea set to be on show for viewers of the game.
Fionn O’Donoghue’s late penalty proved the difference for Belmullet in their opening win over Knockmore (2-9 to 1-9), while Breaffy were comfortable in a 0-22 to 0-12 first round over Ballaghaderreen.
Sunday also sees Ballintubber meeting Mayo Gaels (2pm) in the Paddy Moclair Cup race, with three games down for decision today (Saturday) as Charlestown welcome Kilmeena (4pm), Claremorris host Westport (6.30pm) and Knockmore travel to Ballaghaderreen (6.30pm).
Last night saw reigning champions Ballina Stephenites crashing out of the competition at the hands of Castlebar Mitchels, while Garrymore were 1-12 to 0-10 winners against Balla and Aghamore held Crossmolina to a 1-14 to 0-17 draw.
