Liam Cahill has been ratified as Tipperary’s senior hurling manager for another three years.

The 2025 All-Ireland winning boss is set to remain in charge of the Premier County until 2029 after his term was extended at last night’s county board meeting.

Cahill steered his native county to minor, U20 and U21 All-Ireland success before his took over Tipp’s seniors ahead of the 2023 campaign.

The Premier men upset Cork to claim the Liam MacCarthy Cup 12 months ago, with team’s 2026 campaign not living up to expectation as they exited at the Munster championship stage.

There have been no details of any new appointments in Cahill’s backroom team as of yet.
