Dublin boss Ger Brennan has called on the GAA to bring in video technology to assist officials make key decisions after his side’s All-Ireland SFC semi-final defeat to Kerry earlier today.

The Dubs exited the championship after a 2-18 to 0-20 defeat at Croke Park where Brennan felt three big decisions went against his team.

Those were Kerry's penalty in the early stages, the Kingdom's second goal by Sean O’Brien which the Dubs felt should’ve been ruled out for a 'square ball' and then Ross McGarry's punched goal effort that may have been cleared from behind the line.

Speaking to media after his team’s four-point loss, Brennan said that it’s time for the association to bring in a VAR/TMO system when it comes to key moments in games.

"I feel strongly both sets of players today, all inter-county players and in hurling as well, video assistant technology has to come into play for key decision," he is quoted saying by BBC Sport NI.

"There were three key decisions that didn't go our way today and if the officials had an opportunity to have a quick look, take 30 seconds out and stop the clock, those decisions would have went in a different direction.

"Congratulations to Kerry. They were a bit more accurate. We had 10 more shots but just didn't go over or in.

"Kerry took their opportunities and we finished around 55% shot [accuracy] rate and they were in the high 60s, so we had enough opportunities despite the decisions that didn't go our way."
