Armagh moved into the semi-finals of the Ulster U20 football championship thanks to a 1-24 to 2-15 win over Tyrone at the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds last night.

The hosts were 0-17 to 1-7 ahead when Eoin Duffy struck their goal in the 43rd minute as they went on to secure a six-point victory.

With Donegal’s place in the provincial semi-finals secured for April 22nd, next week’s quarter-finals will see two derbies down for decision.

Tyrone are set to face Derry after the Oak Leafers trounced Antrim on a 6-23 to 0-12 scoreline at the Antrim GAA Centre of Excellence last night, with Monaghan’s 3-23 to 1-16 win against Fermanagh setting them up for a knock-out showdown with Cavan at Kingspan Breffni on April 15th.

After having defeated Tyrone in Round 1 before losing out heavily to Armagh, the Breffni lads picked up a 2-17 to 1-20 draw against Down to move into the competition’s quarter-finals.
