There were big wins in Division Four on Sunday for high-scoring Antrim, Leitrim and Wicklow, who defeated Waterford, Longford and Tipperary respectively.

The Garden County joined Carlow on eight points at the top of the table by virtue of a thumping 3-19 to 0-13 victory over Tipperary in Aughrim, Kevin Quinn registering 1-5 for the victors, with Oisin McGraynor and Eoin Darcy also netting.

Waterford suffered their sixth straight defeat of the campaign when Antrim beat them by 4-18 to 0-11 at Fraher Field.

Marc Jordan and Peter Healy netted in the first half as the northerners led by 2-13 to 0-4 at the break and Ryan McQuilligan and Adam Loughran added late majors for the sensational Saffrons.

Longford missed out on the opportunity to move clear at the top of the table when losing to Leitrim at Carrick-on-Shannon – 3-19 to 1-15. Barry McNulty (1-4) and Gavin Reynolds (2-0) were the main men for top-class Leitrim, who had ten different scorers, including a two-pointer from corner back Keith Keegan.
