The LGFA have announced the AIB Ladies Gaelic Football Club Championship Team of the Year.

The players will be honoured at the AIB Club Player Awards, marking the second time that the four codes of – Ladies Football, Camogie, Hurling, and Football – are celebrated together. The AIB Ladies Gaelic Football Club Player of the Year award winner will also be revealed at the ceremony on Friday, March 13th in Croke Park.

Champions Kilkerrin-Clonberne lead the way with ten representatives on the 2025 AIB Ladies Gaelic Football Club Championship Team of the Year.

The Galway outfit stormed to a fifth successive AIB All-Ireland Senior club championship title last December – with victory secured against Antrim opponents St Ergnats, Moneyglass, at Croke Park.

St Ergnats made history in 2025 by claiming a very first AIB Ulster Senior club title, before advancing to a maiden national decider.

Their exploits have been acknowledged with the other five places on the 2025 AIB Ladies Gaelic Football Club Championship Team of the Year – as Kilkerrin-Clonberne better last year’s haul by two.

Kilkerrin-Clonberne also have two nominees for the prestigious Player of the Year award – Nicola Ward and Siobhán Divilly, who was Player of the Match in the All-Ireland Final.

The third nominee is Cathy Carey from St Ergnats, Moneyglass, the former Antrim captain who enjoyed a stellar season at club level.

There are three sets of sisters on the AIB Team of the Year, with the Wards and Divillys from Kilkerrin-Clonberne joined by the O’Neills (Sarah and Maria) from St Ergnats on the annual selection.

Nicola and Louise Ward are long-standing stars for club and county – and Louise was named as the inaugural AIB Ladies Gaelic Football Club Player of the Year twelve months ago.

Three Divilly sisters are also named on the Team of the Year, namely Niamh, Siobhán and Olivia.

In total, Kilkerrin-Clonberne have six players named for a second successive season on the Team of the Year – Sarah Gormally, Niamh Divilly, Nicola Ward, Louise Ward, Olivia Divilly and Eva Noone.
