Barry McNulty has been honoured after landing an incredible six two-pointers in the second half of Leitrim’s Allianz Football League Division 4 victory over London last Sunday.

The Glencar/Manorhamilton clubman demonstrated his long-range kicking ability after coming off the bench at half-time in Ruislip as Leitrim stormed back from 10 points down to register a 2-19 to 1-20 win. It marked a spectacular return from injury for the 20-year-old who was duly named as Footballer of the Week on the GAA website.

McNulty received 3,709 votes on the GAA’s Instagram page, which put him ahead of fellow nominees Donegal's Conor O'Donnell (3,327) and Dublin's Con O'Callaghan (2,430).
