Wicklow got their second win of this year’s Allianz Football League Division 4 campaign by seeing off Waterford on a 0-14 to 0-9 scoreline in Dungarvan this evening.

Having trailed at the halfway stage, Oisin McConville’s side came good in the second-half to inflict their Deise counterparts with a second league loss.

Stephen Curry’s point had saw the hosts holding a 0-5 to 0-4 lead at the break, but the Garden men stormed in front early in the restart thanks to unanswered scores from Cillian McDonald, JP Nolan and Eoin Darcy.

Conor Murray and Dermot Ryan raised white flags at the other end to bring the game level ahead of Wicklow finding another gear which saw Dean Healy’s two-pointer backed up by a couple of Joe Prendergast points and Nolan rounding off the winners’ tally after James Walsh was dismissed for the Munster side late on.
