Wicklow secured their second win in the Allianz Hurling League Division 3 by seeing off Tyrone on a 3-14 to 0-15 scoreline in Garvaghey this afternoon.

Seanie Germaine’s goal inside the opening minute set the tone for the Garden men and they’d net again through Jack Phelan 20 minutes later to eventually move towards a 2-4 to 0-8 half-time lead.

Phelan sent over two of the first four points of the restart for the visitors and Andrew Kavanagh’s goal after that would put them firmly on the path to victory.

In Enniskillen, Louth also made their goals count in a 3-20 to 2-19 win over a winless Fermanagh side.

Ciaran McKelvey and Andrew Cosgrave raised green flags for the Leinster side and, after taking in a 2-11 to 0-12 lead at the break, Cosgrave would crash in the Wee County’s third goal in the 43rd minute as goals from Sean Corrigan and Dylan Bannon in the closing quarter of an our ended up being in vain for the hosts.

Meanwhile, Leitrim got off the mark at the third attempt in Division 4 by handing Warwickshire a comprehensive 2-28 to 2-11 defeat at Páirc na hÉireann.

James McNabola and Colm Canning rattled the home side’s net in either half as the Connacht men moved up to third place in the table, with Exiles now sitting bottom on score difference.
